Rick Stein Fistral is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food and experiences at our beach-bar inspired venue overlooking Fistral beach. This hands-on role requires a proven track record in a quality kitchen and a passion for team development and guest satisfaction.

This leadership position demands inspiring the kitchen team, maintaining high standards, and driving efficient daily operations while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role in quality hospitality.
• Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences and high standards.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
• Commercial awareness including GP, labour, and kitchen performance.
• Calm, organised, and resilient under pressure; hands-on leader.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the kitchen team in partnership with the Head Chef.
• Assist in menu execution, specials, and seasonal dishes.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality food delivery aligned to new concept.
• Manage daily kitchen operations including prep and service flow.
• Support stock control, ordering, and supplier management.
• Coach and mentor junior chefs, fostering a positive team culture.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
• Step in for the Head Chef when required, maintaining standards.
