Up to £100,000 p/a + performance-related bonuses + additional bonuses.

Requirements: Candidates must be Security Cleared or eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. This role is remote with occasional travel to London every few weeks to visit the client site.

Role Overview

1. A leading UK-based organisation seeks a Lead Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, cloud-native platforms. This senior role is suitable for individuals with at least 8 years of experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems, especially on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java-based microservices. Responsibilities include shaping technical strategy, leading architecture design, and mentoring teams on cloud transformation projects.

Essential Skills: Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and event-driven design.

The candidate will ensure architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements, optimize performance, and manage cloud costs. Leadership, communication, and hands-on technical skills are vital for success.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP)
• Background in serverless technologies, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and zero-trust security models
• Experience with DevOps tools and a DevOps focus is a significant advantage.
