Up to £100,000 p/a + performance-related bonuses + additional bonuses.

Requirements: Candidates must either be Security Cleared or be eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. The role is remote with occasional travel to London every few weeks to visit the client site.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver complex, cloud-native platforms.
2. Architect large-scale distributed systems, primarily on AWS.
3. Shape technical strategy, lead architecture design, and mentor teams during cloud transformation projects.
4. Ensure architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements.
5. Optimize performance and manage cloud costs.
6. Maintain security best practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and event-driven design.

Ideal Candidate:

• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java-based microservices.
• Possess AWS certifications and experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
• Background in serverless technologies, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and zero-trust security models.
• Experience with DevOps tools and a DevOps focus is a significant advantage.
