Lead Solution Architect - AWS Cloud Focused - Remote

Up to £100,000 p/a + performance-related bonuses + additional bonuses.

Requirements: Candidates must either be Security Cleared or be eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. The role is remote with occasional travel to London every few weeks to visit the client site.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver complex, cloud-native platforms.
2. Architect large-scale distributed systems, particularly on AWS.
3. Shape technical strategy, lead architecture design, and mentor teams across cloud transformation projects.
4. Ensure architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements.
5. Optimize performance and manage cloud costs.
6. Maintain deep expertise in secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java microservices.
7. Implement cloud security best practices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and event-driven design.
8. Ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA, and incorporate zero-trust security models.
9. Utilize DevOps tools and practices, especially if experienced in DevOps environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
• Background in serverless technologies and compliance standards.
• Experience with zero-trust security models.
