Responsibilities:
- Support the Annual Sales Plan through pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting activities, requiring extensive knowledge of our complex products.
- Manage a team of Field Application Engineers, including workload management, role enablement, and training.
- Provide support and mentoring for complex technical sales to ensure successful customer integration and implementation.
- Support pre-sales strategic customer engagement, including customer meetings and technology days to promote Curtiss-Wright capabilities.
- Triaging and qualifying customer inquiries to prioritize new business opportunities.
- Assist in bid support and customer architecture discussions to develop compliant system solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals aligning Curtiss-Wright products with customer needs.
- Promote new business through networking, trade shows, and social media.
- Support post-sales activities, including updating customers on product enhancements and providing first-line technical support.
- Perform basic hardware/software integration, debugging, and operational instructions.
Required Expertise:
- Experience selling or working with Defense and Aerospace OEMs, especially those supplying Radars, Electronic Warfare, or Aircraft Electronic Systems.
- Proven success in sales/orders within Mil/Commercial Aero or Mil Land environments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and working with large datasets for sales and product development insights.
- Experience fostering discipline and generating bidding opportunities with major OEMs, with past dealings with Airbus, Thales, Leonardo highly desired.
- 10-15 years in technical sales and at least 5 years in engineering management.
