Lead Solutions Architect - AWS Cloud Focused - Remote

Up to £100,000 p/a + performance-related bonuses + additional benefits.

Requirements: Candidates must either be Security Cleared or eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. This role is remote with occasional travel to London for client visits.

• A leading UK-based organisation seeks a Lead Solution Architect to design and deliver complex, cloud-native platforms. This senior role requires at least 8 years of experience in architecting large-scale distributed systems, particularly on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java microservices. Responsibilities include shaping technical strategy, leading architecture design, and mentoring teams on cloud transformation projects.

Essential skills include a strong understanding of cloud security best practices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and event-driven design.

The role involves ensuring architectural standards align with business and compliance needs, optimizing performance, and managing cloud costs. Leadership, communication, and hands-on technical skills are vital.

Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, experience with Azure or GCP, expertise in serverless technologies, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and zero-trust security models. Experience with DevOps tools is a plus.
