Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our Leicester team and contribute across the full software development life cycle. You will design, code, debug, test and deploy applications with broad knowledge of languages and architectures.

You will collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver client software solutions, review code, enforce standards, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, PCI-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically 6+ years of professional coding, design, development and data analysis experience.
• Experience with two or more front- and back-end languages and APIs; enterprise APIs and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develops moderately complex code across front- and/or back-end languages for multiple platforms.
• Designs and delivers program specifications for code development and support on several projects.
• Participates in client meetings, enforces standards and supports PCI security compliance.
