Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to design, code, debug, and maintain applications across front- and back-end stacks. You will analyze existing systems, create implementation plans, and drive quality in a flexible development environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of multiple programming languages, APIs, and databases, with emphasis on delivering scalable software and ensuring PCI security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in CS/IT/IS or related field.
• Typically 6+ years professional coding, design, development and data analysis experience.
• Experience with multiple front-end/back-end languages and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develops moderately complex code for internal/external client solutions.
• Designs and delivers program specifications across multiple projects.
• Provides code analysis, documentation and testing support.
• Advises on testing, validation and corrective measures for complex code.
• Participates in client meetings and vendor discussions to determine solutions.
• Guides adherence to application standards and PCI security controls.
• Assists with training and mentoring software engineers.
