Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a Software Developer / Team Lead (C# .Net) in Bracknell with hybrid WFH options. You will lead a squad on architecture, API design and production operations while continuing hands-on development.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, microservices, and modern frontend stacks (Vue.js/React/Angular). Experience with AWS and CI/CD is essential, along with mentoring engineers and driving AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development skills with C# .Net (OO languages acceptable)
• Experience leading a software engineering team and mentoring engineers
• Proven design experience in distributed systems and microservices
• Frontend experience with Vue.js, React or modern Angular
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Production AWS experience (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda)
• Experience owning CI/CD and release processes (GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and driving AI adoption
• Collaborative and pragmatic communicator with stakeholders
• Background in payments, FX, or regulated industry is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead your Squad across architecture, development, delivery and production operations while remaining hands-on
• Own system architecture, API design, technical decisions and code quality
• Partner with Product Managers on roadmaps, delivery plans and priorities
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and 1-2-1 feedback to engineers
• Champion AI and agentic coding tools across the software lifecycle
• Drive process improvements and modern development techniques
• Lead from the front with ownership of technical delivery and team growth
