Job summary

ENODA is scaling its software team to deliver the next generation of grid monitoring, control and analytics. Lead Software Engineer will design and implement high-performance back-end services and computational engines, bridging software, data, and OT in a critical infrastructure domain.

The role requires strong experience with C++, Rust or Python, and a track record in scalable, secure systems. You’ll mentor engineers and shape architectural choices across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in computational engines (simulation, optimisation, or AI/ML) with C++, Rust, or Python.
• Experience designing large-scale modular software architectures for modelling, simulation, optimisation, or similar domains.
• Strong math modelling and algorithm skills in energy systems or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve ENODA's software for monitoring, control, dispatch, and analytics of the energy grid.
• Build high-performance APIs, services, and engines (simulation, dispatch optimisation, or digital twin).
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform.
