Job summary

ENODA Ltd is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the evolution of our energy grid software stack. You will architect and implement high-performance APIs, services and computational engines, ensuring reliability and scalability for critical infrastructure.

You will operate at the intersection of software, data, and operations, mentoring engineers and leading design reviews across multiple workstreams to optimize grid visibility, capacity planning, and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing computational engines (simulation, optimisation, AI/ML).
• Experience building large-scale modular software architectures.
• Strong knowledge of energy systems modelling and dynamic simulation.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve software for monitoring, control, dispatch, and analytics of the energy grid.
• Design and implement high-performance APIs, services, and engines (simulation, dispatch optimisation, digital twin).
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform.
• Lead workstreams within platform teams and mentor engineers.
