Job summary

This hybrid role blends Capgemini offices, client sites, and home office as appropriate. You will design, build, and enhance software with a focus on scalable architectures, secure coding, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering business-focused full‑stack software solutions.
• Strong frontend with React or React Native and robust Java backend.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Solid SQL skills and relational databases, plus TDD/BDD practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding, DevOps, and CI/CD in agile environments.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in full stack software engineering with a track record of delivering business-focused solutions.
• Strong experience in frontend development using React or React Native.
• Strong Java development experience, including enterprise application delivery.
• Expertise in the Spring Boot framework.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems principles.
• Experience working with SQL and relational database technologies.
• Practical application of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and application security best practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Awareness of AI-driven approaches and a commitment to continuously evolving engineering practices.
