Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern Java development and hands‑on experience with cloud‑native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Using Java and related frameworks, including Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA, React, Microservices, or Angular for application development.
  • Using operating systems including Linux, Windows, or Shell Scripting.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Python, SQL, Ruby and groovy, Container Orchestration services including Docker and ECS, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services
  • Following Agile methodologies Scrum, JIRA, or Rally.
  • Using relational databases including SQL, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, or Postgres.
  • Working with each phase of the product development cycle including requirement gathering, development, support, enhancements and deployment of Web based applications.
  • Working with monitoring and observability for cloud environments: Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or Kibana.
  • Using DevOps automation and CI/CD, Git/GitHub Copilot, or IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Performing application security and vulnerability management: JWT, OAuth, Nexus, Artifactory, SonarQube, or HashiCorp Vault.
  • Using automated testing frameworks Playwright, Jest, Mockito, or TestNG.
  • Working with enterprise messaging and caching solutions: Kafka, WebSphereMQ, RabbitMQ, or Redis.
  • Using Agile project management and delivery: Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, or Rally.
  • Working with oversight of application, system, or architecture design decisions
