Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking a Development Consultant (Lead Software Developer) to act as the technical lead for software products and integrations across trusts. The role involves leading delivery from requirements through to deployment, designing and building features in C#/.NET, and managing changes within ITIL processes.

The post is a full-time, temporary contract of 37.5 hours per week, with remote working up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or 5+ years’ experience working with software development or integration, with lead developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead developer for specified software products and integrations.
• Lead delivery of software solutions from requirements to implementation.
• Design, build, test and deploy new features for in‑house applications (C#/.NET)
• Assess risk changes and manage ITIL Change processes.
