Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Development Consultant (Lead Software Developer) to lead the delivery of in-house software solutions from requirements through to implementation in Portsmouth. You will design, build, test and deploy features across C#/.NET stack, mentor junior developers, and ensure alignment with Trust objectives.

You will translate requirements into User Stories for Agile delivery, assess changes via ITIL processes, and stay current with healthcare integration technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with C#/.NET stack and MS SQL
• Experience in healthcare IT integration is desirable
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead delivery in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with ITIL Change Management processes

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of in-house software solutions from requirements to implementation
• Design, build, test and deploy new features for in-house applications (C#/.NET)
• Mentor and support junior developers
• Engage with product owners to translate requirements into User Stories for Agile delivery and manage changes through ITIL processes
