NHS Jobs is seeking a Development Consultant (Lead Software Developer) to lead the delivery of in-house software solutions from requirements through to implementation in Portsmouth. You will design, build, test and deploy features across C#/.NET stack, mentor junior developers, and ensure alignment with Trust objectives.

You will translate requirements into User Stories for Agile delivery, assess changes via ITIL processes, and stay current with healthcare integration technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with C#/.NET stack and MS SQL
• Experience in healthcare IT integration is desirable
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead delivery in an Agile environment
• Familiarity with ITIL Change Management processes

Subject Matter Expert across a range of in-house technical solutions Lead the delivery of software solutions, from requirements right through to implementation Support/mentor junior developers Design, build, test and deploy new features for in-house applications to align with IWTs requirements (C# and .NET) Risk assess the change impact, and manage changes through ITIL Change Management processes Engage with product owners to understand requirements and convert into User Stories as part of the Agile process Stay current on new digital technologies and maintain an understanding of Trust-wide applications Experience with Healthcare Integration is desirable.
