Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site operations for high‑voltage AIS and GIS projects across the UK. You will oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning, ensuring technical integrity, safety compliance, and client satisfaction on multiple sites.

The role requires extensive on‑site leadership, coordination with field teams and product units, and a strong focus on safety and governance. Travel across the UK and extended field assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site field operations for large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes and nonconformity handling.
• Familiarity with safety regulations such as CDM.
• Excellent communication with clients, teams and subcontractors.
• Hands-on experience with substation primary plant construction and AIS/GIS installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations, manage daily tasks and resources across multiple sites.
• Ensure on-site technical integrity, quality and safety of GIS/AIS installations.
• Coordinate with product units and clients to resolve installation issues.
• Identify, report and close out nonconformities to keep projects on schedule.
