Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Manager to own the safe and successful delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects across the United Kingdom. You will lead site activities from mobilisation through construction, commissioning and handover, acting as the senior on-site representative and coordinating contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or construction field.
• 5+ years as Site Manager or similar leadership role in construction/energy.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and resource management.
• Familiarity with UK health, safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and coordinate stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel across UK project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site-based activities through construction, installation, testing and commissioning phases.
• Plan and coordinate site delivery with Project Managers to ensure resources and milestones are in place.
• Own the site from handover through final completion and return to customer.
• Act as Hitachi Energy's primary site representative, building relationships with customers and contractors.
• Ensure activities comply with contract requirements, specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.
