Morgan Hunt UK Ltd in Glasgow is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join a well established consultancy. You will take ownership of projects across residential, commercial and education sectors, guiding designs from concept through to construction.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will supervise preparation of structural calculations, liaise with architects and contractors, mentor junior engineers and contribute to bids.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience delivering structural design in a consultancy.
• UK building structures experience and BS/Eurocodes knowledge.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry and timber design.

Responsabilités

• Lead the structural design of projects from concept to completion.
• Prepare and check structural calculations and technical reports.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Mentor graduate engineers and junior staff.
• Attend design team meetings and client reviews.
• Support bids and business development activities.
