Job summary

Morgan Hunt Group Limited, on behalf of a Glasgow-based consultancy, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of development infrastructure from feasibility through to completion.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage multiple projects, liaise with local authorities and clients, and help develop a diverse portfolio spanning residential, education, healthcare and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in roads, drainage and infrastructure design.
• Good knowledge of SuDS, flood risk and development infrastructure.
• Experience using Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage or similar design software.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Leading the civil engineering design of development infrastructure projects.
• Preparing roads, drainage and infrastructure designs using industry-standard software.
• Liaising with local authorities and other statutory bodies.
• Managing projects from initial feasibility through planning and construction.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
• Supporting business development and building long-term client relationships.
