Job summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a consultancy in Glasgow to add a number of Senior Civil Engineers to their team. You'll lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility through to completion, mentoring junior engineers and developing strong client relationships.

You'll work across roads, drainage, SuDS and infrastructure, coordinating with civil, structural and surveying disciplines, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in roads, drainage and infrastructure design.
• Experience using Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage or similar software.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Flexible working arrangements and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading the civil engineering design of development infrastructure projects.
• Preparing roads, drainage and infrastructure designs using industry-standard software.
• Liaising with local authorities and other statutory bodies.
• Managing projects from initial feasibility through planning and construction.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
• Supporting business development and building long-term client relationships.
