You will manage design deliverables, oversee budgets, and liaise with clients and suppliers. The role supports flexible/hybrid working patterns across the UK network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Engineer or equivalent in highways/ civil schemes.
• Capability to lead design teams and mentor junior designers.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team on road schemes and ensure technical quality.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings, and deliverables.
• Manage budgets and oversee cost control within projects.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and bid teams; support work-winning.
