Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Lead Site Co-ordination and Installation Design Authority Engineer for Colerne, Hawthorn, and Oakhanger sites. You will oversee complex configuration and installation activities, ensuring secure, compliant infrastructure for national security missions.

In the Mission Systems context you will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage configuration control, coordinate stakeholder liaison, and guarantee quality against JSP 604/440 and BS EN standards, with DV clearance requirements

Qualifications

Experience in a Defence SCIDA role.
Understanding of security architecture in compartmented environments.
Experience with ICT systems in complex environments.
Knowledge of JSP 604, JSP 440 and relevant BS EN standards.
Experience creating, maintaining and cataloguing Configuration Management documentation.

Responsibilities

Configuration control for engineering installation activities at communication sites.
Liaising with stakeholders for proposed configuration changes.
Allocating equipment, room, rack and floor space, QC of installations.
Ensuring compliance with standards (ISO & JSP).
Maintaining Configuration Management for ICT projects.
Quality assessment of ICT projects for design conformity.
Final authorisation on project completion (Certificate of Conformity).
Ensure CMDB processes cover hardware and software across the estate.
