Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations at our Chartwells sites on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly while delivering exceptional food experiences and customer service, with opportunities to progress within a company that invests in its people and recognises excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.
