Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Chartwells catering and service operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) across its sites in the United Kingdom.

You will lead food preparation, supervise teams, monitor KPIs with your manager, ensure health and safety standards, and help deliver exceptional food experiences while progressing your catering career within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate held.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front to excel.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.
