Job summary

Trident Group is seeking Lead Rough Sleepers Outreach Workers in Birmingham. You will engage individuals rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping, providing housing solutions, support, and pathways away from homelessness.

Experience with homelessness, strong communication, and ability to work independently are essential. The role involves extensive street outreach, collaboration with partner agencies, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Experience working with single homeless people or rough sleepers.
• Ability to assess needs and support access to housing, services, and health.
• Strong communication and people skills; professional interpersonal interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct street outreach across Birmingham to engage rough sleepers.
• Build positive relationships with clients and partner agencies.
• Assess needs and support access to housing, health and services.
• Maintain accurate and compliant case records.
• Work across locations and shift patterns, including SWEP and counts.
• Promote person-centred approaches for sustainable outcomes.
• Drive outreach vehicles as required.
