Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan is seeking a Senior Site Manager for a 200-unit traditional build residential development in East Sussex. The role focuses on delivering the project safely, on programme and to NHBC standards.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure quality from groundworks through to handover, maintaining strong health & safety and programme discipline.

Qualifications

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are essential.
• Proven experience as Senior Site Manager in residential construction.
• Track record delivering traditional build housing schemes.
• Experience taking a development from start to finish (groundworks to handover).
• Experience on NHBC-regulated developments.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day running of the residential development.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and trades.
• Ensure safe delivery, on programme and to high quality.
• Oversee construction from groundworks through to handover.
• Monitor progress against programme and address delays.
• Maintain quality control throughout construction.
• Ensure NHBC standards and requirements are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections and documentation.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Contracts Manager and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records and health & safety compliance.
