Job summary

Saltire Facilities Management is seeking a Renewables Lead Engineer to cover the SouthWest. You will service, maintain, repair, and fault-find gas appliances and ASHP systems across social housing and private properties, ensuring safety, warmth, and compliance.

You’ll lead renewables work, support the wider team, and maintain high standards, while completing paperwork and adhering to safety procedures. A full clean UK driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe and ACS qualifications are essential.
• Experience with gas appliances and air source heat pumps (ASHP) in renewables is required.
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical knowledge are needed.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances and ASHP systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out installation, commissioning, and maintenance on renewable heating systems.
• Providing technical support to other engineers and staff.
• Building relationships with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
