Job summary

Saltire Facilities Management is seeking a Gas Engineer to service, maintain and repair gas appliances in social housing across the Salisbury area. You will work autonomously with support from an organized office team, ensuring homes are safe, warm and compliant.

Training and upskilling into renewables are available, with emphasis on Gas Safe regulations and safe working practices. You'll enjoy a private, full-time permanent position with a competitive salary (£42,500-£45,000) and standby OTE.

Qualifications

• Gas engineer with ACS CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• ASHP experience not essential, training available for renewables.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining boilers and fires in social housing properties.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Maintain professional relationships with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
• Complete all job paperwork accurately and on time.
• Attend toolbox talks and stay updated on safety procedures.
• Maintain standards for appearance, uniform, and van presentation.
• Carry out weekly vehicle and equipment checks.
• Participate in on-call cover when required.
