Job summary

Swanton Care and Community is seeking a Registered Service Manager (Fixed Term) in Tyne and Wear. You will lead multiple Supported Living services, ensuring safety, quality and person-centred support for people we support, while maintaining regulatory registration and driving improvements.

The role requires working from Sunderland-based offices and traveling between services as needed, with 40 hours per week and flexibility to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Current SSSC Registration.
• SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards this qualification).
• Experience working at Deputy Manager level or above within a health and social care setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and foster an inclusive, welcoming culture.
• Proven ability to provide inspiring, supportive, and motivational leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred support that promotes choice, independence, and positive outcomes.
• Experience managing a Supported Living service or a similar social care provision is highly desirable.

• Maintain the service's registration with the relevant regulatory body.
