Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Registered Service Manager for a specialist residential service in the Southampton area. The role requires strong leadership to drive quality, governance and compliance while delivering person‑centred support for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

You will lead a dedicated staff team, manage budgets, and collaborate with families, professionals and commissioners to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Manager in a regulated adult social care setting.
• Previous CQC registration experience.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willing to work towards level 5).
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance and compliance requirements.
• Track record of developing teams and improving service quality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting recruitment, induction and ongoing development of colleagues.
• Preparing the service for future inspections and maintaining high standards of governance.
• Building positive relationships with families, professionals and commissioners.
• Proactive, visible and hands‑on leadership style.
