Job summary

Domus in Nottingham seeks an experienced Registered Manager to oversee two 5-bed homes for adults with learning disabilities. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality, person-centred care, and maintain regulatory compliance across both sites.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of improving outcomes. A Level 5 leadership qualification and CQC registration readiness are preferred; support for professional development is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing or leading a residential care service.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and relevant care legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience with care planning, risk assessments and quality assurance.
• A commitment to delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes.
• A relevant Level 5 leadership and management qualification in adult care would be advantageous.
• Ability to meet the relevant CQC Registered Manager registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of both residential homes.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and best practice.
• Lead, motivate and develop the staff team.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance.
• Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and regularly reviewed.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice and independence.
• Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvements.
• Build positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Manage incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns appropriately.
