Job summary

MCR Property Group is seeking a Site Manager for refurbishment projects across the Midlands. The role involves leading a multidisciplinary team on active development and refurbishment sites, with emphasis on external cladding remediations and office-to-accommodation transformations.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets and resources, oversee procurement, and ensure safety and quality standards across all stages from planning to completion.

Qualifications

• SMSTS preferred.
• Proven experience as Construction Site Manager, especially in residential high-rise projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with construction management software.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of construction professionals, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage subcontractor packages, oversee health and safety on site, and control design information from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 6.
• Control costs, monitor budgets, identify efficiencies and manage risks to keep projects on schedule and within targets.
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders and report to the Construction Director.
• Oversee procurement and contract management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
