Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited in the UK is seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join its Rail Infrastructure team in Derby. You will oversee railway traffic management projects across the full lifecycle, from bids and system design through validation, testing, installation and ongoing support.

You will lead a team of engineers to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs while complying with industry standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven background in systems engineering of complex railway projects.
• Membership of a relevant Engineering Institution.
• HNC/HND in Engineering or related subject.
• Experience with Railway Signalling Systems including VDU Control Centres.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver Railway Traffic Management Systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop system and end-user requirements and verify through validation activities.
• Lead data production, checks and integration testing across projects.
