Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Lead Project Engineer in CIS within Rail Infrastructure. You will own engineering delivery across defined work packages, coordinating multi-disciplinary inputs and enforcing requirements, safety obligations and customer expectations throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead as PEM on medium projects or as technical lead on larger programmes, ensuring right-first-time integration and robust testing and assurance within UK&I and the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems or related discipline.
• Experience delivering SCADA, SISS or control systems.
• Proven track record in full engineering lifecycle.
• Experience as Work Package Manager or PEM.
• Knowledge of rail infrastructure environments and practices.
• Experience with configuration, change and assurance processes.
• Background in multi-disciplinary environments incl. SCADA, telecoms, M&E.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering delivery of work packages or PEM on medium projects.
• Develop and execute the Project Engineering Management Plan (PEMP).
• Drive system engineering lifecycle activities: requirements and integration management, design, test and commissioning.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards, processes, technical specifications and safety obligations.
• Coordinate technical interfaces across disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Act as engineering representative to the PM, client, suppliers and internal teams.
