Job summary

Aureos is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead the Rail Systems and site-wide elements for the Washwood Heath project, guiding lifecycles from initiation to closure and ensuring on-time, within-scope, and on-budget delivery with quality.

You will oversee planning, risk management, and stakeholder liaison, coordinating internal teams and external vendors while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a project manager in the infrastructure sector (minimum 5 years).
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in infrastructure development.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of the Rail System and Site Wide element of the WWH project, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report and elevate to management as needed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
