Northampton General Hospital is inviting applications to join our dynamic radiotherapy physics team as a Specialist Radiotherapy Dosimetrist in Northampton, focusing on treatment planning with Varian Eclipse and Aria, with AI contouring and knowledge-based planning established here.

Join a multidisciplinary NHS team delivering high-quality planning and QA, contributing to training and development and collaborating across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Vocational radiotherapy degree and RCT/HCPC registration.
• Specialist training in treatment planning techniques and NHS practice.
• Experience with IMRT planning; familiarity with Eclipse/Aria.

Responsibilities

• Produce routine and complex treatment plans following clinical protocols.
• Check patient images and co-register from different sources.
• Outline CT volumes for GTVs and OARs.
• Advise on plan options and dose distributions.
• Participate in QA, CPD and new technique development.
