Job summary

Gold Group is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a major UK infrastructure project. You will lead a commercial team, manage cost control, valuations, forecasting and change management on significant civils packages.

The role requires strong NEC experience, a Quantity Surveying degree, and professional recognition (RICS/CIOB/ICES). A car allowance or company car and competitive package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Professional membership in RICS, CIOB or ICES, or actively working towards it.
• Strong experience on major civils/infrastructure projects and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors.
• Oversee cost management, valuations, forecasting and change control on civils packages.
• Manage subcontract administration across civils/utility packages.
• Prepare cost/value reconciliations, commercial reports and risk registers.
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes through LEAN and digital initiatives.
