Job summary
VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial side of high-profile civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will own contracts, profitability and risk management from inception to completion.
Working with project teams and senior stakeholders, you will inspire and develop commercial talent while driving value, performance and delivery across rail, highways and buildings sectors.
Qualifications
- Accredited by a professional body (RICS/CIOB/ICES).
- A degree with numerical/technical focus is advantageous.
- Adequate experience as an Assistant QS or QS.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial success of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects, owning contractual performance, profitability and risk management from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with project teams and senior stakeholders to inspire and develop commercial talent while driving value, performance and successful delivery.
