Job summary

Coffey is a water infrastructure and civil engineering specialist operating across Ireland and the UK. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage and control costs across the lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring budgets, resources and contractual obligations are met without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering from a UK university.
• 3–5 years relevant experience.
• Experience supporting civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts in the UK is essential.
• Full clean UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining good relations with clients and representatives.
• Representing the company’s interests at project meetings.
• Supporting staff to perform commercial/contractual duties.
• Liaising with other departments to provide information for commercial/financial teams.
• Preparing monthly, interim and final valuations and payments; cost reconciliations and certifications.
• Providing information for cash flow review and contract position.
• Recovering monies due for work performed.
• Assisting Procurement Manager with supplier agreements and sub-contracts.
• Mentoring and supporting the commercial team.
• Other related tasks as required.
