Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Ireland. You will provide cost estimation and cost management across major infrastructure projects, contributing to continued growth and delivering high-value services to clients.

You will have 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying, with civils and contractor background, and familiarity with NEC/GCCC contracts and CWMF Stages 5–7.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in quantity surveying.
• Experience with major civils projects and contractor environment.
• Knowledge of NEC and GCCC contracts.
• Experience with CWMF Stages 5–7.
• Strong client relationship and cost management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans for infrastructure projects.
• Support procurement processes: tender docs, evaluation, negotiations.
• Prepare tender reports and valuations.
• Assist final accounts, handling variations/claims for best value.
• Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking, informing decisions.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Lead tasks and deliver outputs accurately and on time.
• Attend meetings and support onsite cost control.
