Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking a Project Manager to lead a high-value multi-discipline team from initiation through completion, overseeing budgets, timelines and stakeholder engagement. You will ensure delivery against KPIs and contribute to the strategic development of the role within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering delivery, NEC3 contract knowledge and a proven ability to manage complex portfolios.

Qualifications

• Must hold a third level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Project Engineer experience with construction delivery and project management.
• Professional certification such as PMP is required.
• Extensive experience delivering £50m+ programmes and complex portfolios, ideally in high voltage transmission.
• Ability to lead with client and supplier partner teams.
• Proven ability to deliver safely, on time and to budget using proven systems and methods.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC3 forms of contract.
• Extensive knowledge of project planning, works management and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership skills in large project and operational teams.
• Solid understanding of CDM Regulations and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Full management and delivery responsibility for assigned projects.
• Develop strategies and budgets; lead and support project team to deliver to high standards.
• Manage all operational aspects including full P&L, health and safety and quality assurance.
• Represent Omexom with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor assigned personnel and project staff.
• Present and report on operational performance and recommended improvements.
• Lead and deliver projects in line with Omexom governance framework.
• Assist with bid management, tender reviews and bid validation.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to secure future business.
• Maintain governance with clear processes for lessons learned.
