Job summary

Brandon James is seeking a Project Manager to join its Nottingham team, delivering private-sector building projects across commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use developments. You will coordinate project teams from pre-contract through to completion, work with clients and consultants, and help grow the Nottingham office.

The role requires consultancy experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working for a construction consultancy.
• Experience managing private-sector building projects.
• Knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract management.
• Familiarity with JCT contracts, procurement and risk management.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare programmes and coordinate design information.
• Manage risk registers and monitor budgets; report progress to clients.
• Chair project meetings; coordinate multidisciplinary consultants and contractors.
• Support procurement, contract administration and change control; project close-out.
• Ensure deadlines, quality standards and commercial objectives are met.
