Job summary

Brandon James in Nottingham seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join a well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy. You will work with experienced Project Managers and Cost Managers, gaining exposure to infrastructure, residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a construction consultancy.
• Degree in construction-related discipline (e.g., Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying).
• Understanding of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.
• Proactive attitude and desire to progress towards chartership (APM, RICS or CIOB).
• A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-contract and post-contract project management across a diverse portfolio of building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare project programmes, maintain risk registers, attend client and site meetings, produce reports, monitor progress and assist with contract administration.
• Coordinate stakeholders, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, undertake site inspections and ensure projects meet timescales and quality standards.
