Job summary

Quest Global in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Engineering Lead to plan, coordinate and deliver infrastructure projects within a complex dockyard environment. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure scope, schedule, cost and risk are managed to meet customer and business objectives.

You will act as the key interface between clients, stakeholders and suppliers, applying systems thinking to develop pragmatic solutions while maintaining governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Professional project management qualification such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent (or working towards).
• Relevant project delivery experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil and gas etc.).
• Experience engaging with stakeholders, technical teams and cross-functional groups at all levels to understand key needs.

Responsibilities

• Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate and drive engineering projects forward, ensuring delivery against schedule and scope.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical completeness, integration and delivery of project objectives.
• Support the development and scoping of new opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline of work and ensure an accurate and sustainable delivery forecast.
• Apply and promote practical systems thinking in support of infrastructure and facilities maintenance projects.
• Prepare and present project documentation, including reports, plans and decision records.
• Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.
• Contribute to design reviews, technical workshops and engineering governance processes.
• Act as a key interface between engineering teams, customers and stakeholders to maintain alignment and customer expectations.
