Job summary

Quest Global in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to collaborate with the customer and support infrastructure and asset development at a major dockyard facility. You will be the technical interface for electrical aspects of modifications, scope, design, and delivery, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and alignment with broader projects while working within a team of engineers.

Qualifications

HND (minimum) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred.
Relevant electrical engineering experience in a highly regulated industry.
Proven track record in scope, design and modification of electrical systems (LV/HV, lighting, distribution).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and electrical standards (IEEE, IEC).

Responsibilities

Engage with the customer to understand requirements and provide electrical engineering support.
Scope, design and propose modifications to assets or facilities based on needs and constraints.
Oversee lifecycle development from concept through implementation and maintenance.
Review and approve technical documentation for regulatory and safety compliance.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to align designs with broader projects.
Support installation, commissioning and testing activities as needed.
