Job summary

Quest Global in the United Kingdom seeks a Structural/Civil Engineer to support non-nuclear and nuclear asset projects at a dockyard site. You will ensure design, refurbishment and new structures meet safety, operational and compliance requirements, while coordinating with clients and design teams.

The role requires Sole UK National status for security clearance, with experience delivering projects from RIBA stages 3 to 5 and strong BIM knowledge. On-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in related disciplines (preferable).
• Chartered status with IStructE or equivalent professional body.
• Relevant civil engineering experience in a highly regulated industry (nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, etc.).
• Proven track record delivering projects through RIBA stages 3 to 5.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM capable software (Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Producing drawing information, design calculations and specifications.
• Interfacing with key customer stakeholders and design team.
• Arranging site investigations and condition surveys; interpreting findings for reports and remediation strategies.
• Implementing alterations to existing structures, including listed buildings; input into temporary support design.
