Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join a Cardiff-based practice. The role offers ownership of projects from concept through to completion, with exposure across residential, retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary sectors.

You'll contribute across multiple RIBA stages, coordinate consultants and clients, and drive design development with strong Revit proficiency and a solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Qualifications

• Qualified and ARB-registered Architect
• Proven experience delivering projects across RIBA stages
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Developing design proposals from concept through to detailed design
• Producing and reviewing high-quality architectural and technical information
• Leading the preparation of detailed drawing and specification packages
• Coordinating Building Regulations, planning and statutory requirements
• Managing and coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams
• Attending client, consultant and project meetings
• Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Monitoring project progress, quality and deadlines
• Supporting the technical delivery and successful completion of projects
• Contributing to the development of the practice and mentoring less experienced team members
• Working across a varied portfolio including residential, retail, industrial, leisure and veterinary schemes
