Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Architect for a Harrogate-based studio delivering retail and commercial projects. The role offers ownership from concept through to completion and a chance to contribute to award-winning designs.

The ideal candidate is ARB-registered with UK qualifications, has experience guiding projects through the RIBA Plan of Work, and can lead multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality technical output.

Qualifications

• ARB-registered architect with a recognised UK qualification.
• Experience delivering projects through the full RIBA Plan of Work.
• Experience on retail and commercial sectors with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from concept to completion.
• Manage delivery including design development, coordination, and programme management.
• Prepare planning submissions and Building Regulations information.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Carry out site inspections and surveys to ensure technical standards.
• Lead project teams to deliver schemes on time and within budget.
