Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join a Cardiff-based practice. The role offers ownership of projects from concept through to completion, with exposure across residential, retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary sectors.

You'll contribute across multiple RIBA stages, coordinate consultants and clients, and drive design development with strong Revit proficiency and a solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations.

Formación

• Qualified and ARB-registered Architect
• Proven experience delivering projects across RIBA stages
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Excellent organisational and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Taking responsibility for the delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Developing design proposals from concept through to detailed design
• Producing and reviewing high-quality architectural and technical information
• Leading the preparation of detailed drawing and specification packages
• Coordinating Building Regulations, planning and statutory requirements
• Managing and coordinating consultants, contractors and wider project teams
• Attending client, consultant and project meetings
• Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Monitoring project progress, quality and deadlines
• Supporting the technical delivery and successful completion of projects
• Contributing to the development of the practice and mentoring less experienced team members
• Working across a varied portfolio including residential, retail, industrial, leisure and veterinary schemes

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £40-45,000

A well-established architectural practice in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious architectural professional looking to take greater ownership of projects, develop client relationships and play a key role in delivering schemes from concept through to completion.

The practice works across a diverse portfolio, including residential, food retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary projects, offering excellent variety and the opportunity to contribute across multiple sectors and RIBA stages.

Requirements

• Qualified and ARB-registered Architect
• Proven experience working within an architectural practice
• Experience delivering projects through multiple RIBA stages
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Proficiency in Revit
• Strong technical, detailing and construction knowledge
• Good design awareness and attention to detail
• Confident coordinating consultants and wider project teams
• Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage projects, workloads and deadlines effectively
• Confident working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
